Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 9, 2026
Our commitment
This website is operated by Nate Sendler, a sole proprietor. I believe the internet should be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and I am committed to making this website as accessible as reasonably possible.
This statement reflects the current accessibility status of the Site and the steps I am taking to improve it.
Standard I am working toward
I aim to align this website with the Israeli Standard IS 5568 for internet content accessibility, which is based on the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at Level AA, in the spirit of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
Current accessibility status
I want to be transparent: this site is a personal portfolio built on the Wix platform and has not yet undergone a formal accessibility audit. As a result, I cannot currently certify full conformance with IS 5568 / WCAG 2.0 AA. Some elements may not yet be fully accessible to all users.
Accessibility measures already in place
I have taken the following concrete steps to improve accessibility:

  • Alternative text has been added to images where descriptive text is needed, so that the content can be conveyed to users of assistive technology.
  • Heading structure across the site has been organized into a logical hierarchy to support navigation and screen-reader use.
  • Color contrast between text and background has been reviewed and adjusted to improve readability, including darkening background sections so that text meets stronger contrast levels.
Known limitations
In the interest of honesty, the following areas may not yet meet full accessibility standards:

  • The site has not been formally tested with screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver).
  • Keyboard-only navigation across all interactive elements has not been comprehensively verified.
  • Certain custom-styled or animated elements may not announce correctly to assistive technologies.

I am actively working to identify and address these limitations over time.
Steps I am taking
To improve accessibility, I intend to:

  • Test the site with screen readers and address issues that arise.
  • Test and verify keyboard navigation across all interactive elements.
  • Continue reviewing new content and design changes for accessibility as the site evolves.
